It doesn't seem to look like the disease. Though as @Tesumph said, it doesn't always affect the opticals but I wanted to rule out that potential strain first.

What kind of water am I supposed to be using. I’m in town water, is that a no go?
Also curious about this humidity system.

Bottled water from the store...which probably comes from your city water to begin with, but may be filtered a little more than your house water.

I use my city water...the same water I drink from my faucet.
I do not plan on changing at this time but I do not have to worry about ruining my bator at this time. I also only put water in my actual bator once...I use a dish for the water.

What I am more concerned with is transmition to other flocks. I want to show but not at the risk to other exhibitors.
Although if I went the virus could still be on my clothes...

If the dish of water is in your incubator, you are putting water in the incubator. It becomes a vapor and gets everywhere inside the incubator. Everything ends up with the deposits that are left behind from the solids in the water drying out.
