Please make sure you get some feed in her. I’m worried about vitamin poisoning if you are going to give her nutridrench more than once a day

Yes, and what I meant to say is "what causes almond-shaped eyes". My bad.

Every time I try to google it I either end up at ocular mareks or thyrogenous dwarfism (which I was actually researching because Lil Nub has such an apple shaped skull), I know it’s neither of those.

I felt the exact same way earlier this year. My plea was "please stay tiny and cute, but also please hurry up and get big so I don't have to worry so much about cats and tiny hawks."

ETA: Yours still seem very very cute though Did they even have an awkward ugly stage?

They are definitely still cute.
Whitey and Floppy don’t like to be touched (I’m okay with that), and Stinkeye bites, but the other 4 out of 7 are perfectly chill with hopping onto my legs and getting chest rubs. I love them.

They had a scruffy stage between 3 and 4 weeks that didn’t last long at all. I thought they would look mangey for much longer lol.

Did you open up the other eggs that didn't hatch?

The 3 non developed were pulled. Coordinating with daughter for opening has been an issue.
The 4 under the hen hatched. Well, 3 hatched and shrinkwrap got crushed early and didn't survive.

Birth is traumatizing. Scratch that. Life is traumatizing. I don't recommend it.
