The 4 under the hen hatched. Well, 3 hatched and shrinkwrap got crushed early and didn't survive.

Maybe I should move the incubator to the basement... temp and humidity will be more stable there.
Plus it’s less likely to get bumped.

Do it! I will be setting some coturnix eggs soon, and have button quail eggs on the way in the mail.

ETA: going to try and make them hatch same day, unless I can get second incubator back online.

I purposely set a 16 day old egg under a broody and it hatched and grew into a beautiful grey gamecock

Ooo maybe I’ll just check air cells then. They’ve been in the coldish humid basement. If the air cells are decently small I’ll set them. They’re all dated so I can see how they do at hatch time.
