That was probably an awful way to go. I got really gunshy about believing anything regarding my birds when my DE situation happened. I was advised to use DE and I did research but none of the "de doesn't work stuff" never shows up when you look it up. It's just loads of articles and recommendations for it. Here I was devastated that they had a respiratory issue, one had a swollen sinus and several had discharge. I actually even treated them with antibiotics upon advice but the DE use never occurred to me until literally mid antibiotic treatment i reapplied DE in their run (while wearing a mask to protect my own self - hello should've been obvious) and them bam symptoms started back the next day! It hit me like a ton of bricks; all of the sudden I knew exactly what was causing their problems! I felt like an idiot for not thinking that one through!
