Look what I found her eating when I got there.View attachment 1519324
I got 9.5 mL of the slurry into her just fine. I will give her more in a few hours.

At least she has some food in her now!
Yeah, it died.
Btw, I did stick the tube up my nose.
Kinda off topic but I welcome fowl pox. About this time of year that years hatch gets it and they look rough for a couple weeks then they are immune for life. Alot of people freak out about pox but I welcome it. Never lost a bird from it either. And all mine after the first will never get it again and most times it's not bad at all I believe from letting the young blood in my yard get it it kinda adds to the resistance each year
But then wouldn't they be carriers?Kinda off topic but I welcome fowl pox. About this time of year that years hatch gets it and they look rough for a couple weeks then they are immune for life. I'm so bored.
You are correct. I think if another bird eats the scabs that have fallen off they can get it from that too.I'm no fowl pox expert but I don't think it works like that. It's spread by mosquitoes from affected birds to other birds right? Once they are asymptotic the bird is recovered. I'm pretty sure. @casportpony can you confirm this?
