It can be a straight metal tube, but the end needs to be smooth enough that you could stick it in your nose and not cause a nose bleed.I hope something you find works Cy!Got some good ideas to try for sure. It's not dangerous if the tube is too firm and not pliable enough is it?

Slurry is good, tube works perfectly and is not sharp. I just gave her water a little while ago so I will see how this goes. I will not overfill.
I'm glad you mentioned it! I do know one person that used a tube with sharp edges and ruptured their bird's crop.K good! Just wanted to be sure these were all safe suggestions!
