No thanks! Saw it once as a kid and it didn’t sit well with me, turns out for good reason.
Did you know something like 20 kittens died during filming? Most of them from being thrown over a waterfall in a certain river scene.

How much room do you have...how many birds can you add?

@KikisGirls I currently have 10 hens/pullets. I have kept 17 birds at one time with lots of room. My lot is 62 1/2 feet X 122 feet the "coop" is 8' x 8' and roosting area is 8'x 15' That is the area they are in at night and can go in and out of during the day, They free range the back and side yard during the day. Some times I take them out to one of 2 empty lots on either side of my house. They have lots of room to roam around in, with trees and bushes, as well as the a/c units which are 5' off the ground and a 2 1/2' high 4' X 4' area in the middle all to hide under or get out of the sun. They have a pretty good set up, except it takes up most of my yard. LOL One of the broodys changed her mind the day after I posted that I had 2, now I only have 1.

He’s given me plenty of times where I chose the sorry option so I’ve learned to assess. I need to ride our almost 18hh Belgian before my dad gets up on him to make sure he’s still good.

That's a big one! Tallest I ever had was 17.2 or maybe 17.3.

Thanks Tes! It is insane at how many people just throw away these poor animals and starve them once they don’t can’t do what they used to do. He’s now healthy, fat and happy! I’m a sucker for rescues.

Are you going to put eggs under the one broody?

In my experience over about 14 eventhough the hen can cover them it's easier for one or 2 to pop out and not be totally covered and with the hen constantly turning them it could be multiple eggs one at a time not getting under her as they should and possibly affecting your hatch rate. My dedicated broody hens get up to 12 and have consistent 100% hatch rates.

Although you're talking fluffy full size hen so prolly 35 lol

@sdm111 I am afraid to put 14 under 1 hen for the very reasons you say. I might get 0% hatch
