ummm maybe , but I can't find anything definite that they died... but the excuse for using so many animals is that it took 4 years to film and the babies grew up. Hard to believe a cat over the waterfall would survive though.

Yes, yes they did.
And they had said cat floating in a cardboard box in a river being pursued by a bear and the pug puppy was swimming towards the bear to 'save' the cat.
In another scene the kitten was in the middle of a desert with a fox.

And at the end they had both a cat and pug give birth on camera in snow dens.

Yes, this movie actually happened. I wish I had never watched it as a child.

That's a big one! Tallest I ever had was 17.2 or maybe 17.3.

I've seen a haverian that was 18 and a few Clydesdales that just had to be taller than that but yeah that's really tall.
