Thankfully no. I was able to close the coop & pop doors asap, and just hung out with the girls for a while. I think it was gone by the time I got out, but I definitely high tailed it back to the house!Pee you!
I don't give birds with feathered feet any special care.
As far as silkies go, they feel the cold more because of their feather type. Mine did fine in -40 last winter though, so I'm not sure I believe that.
Clever girl. Best keep an eye on her. She doesn't glow, does she? Perhaps Bluebell faked her own death....
