I bought those but really regular scissors work fine... or just grab their heads and pull. They are so tiny it does not take much for cervical dislocation.

I was planing on using regular kitchen shears/scissors but I want to make sure I only have to do one cut.
I think it will be easier for me to cut instead of pull off.

Stuck my 3 day old D'Uccles in with my 3 week old Japs.
The male Jap keeps beating on one D'Uccle in particular. Probably also a cockerel.
Another, with splay leg, constantly has a wet bottom. No idea why.

The Village of DeForest has a chicken ordinance allowing up to 6hens on residential property that was enacted fairly easily in 2015 when I went to the council meeting with a few others in support. I believe the neighboring town of Windsor prohibits residential chicken keeping. Its a patchwork!

Also they did actually post a picture of the chick. It doesnt show up for some reason but click that grey attachment and there is a picture of the chick on the laptop. Sadly, I believe this person is for real. It's the same person from the other posts

Also, I wouldn't even necessarily be opposed to a pet chicken if it got proper care but most people that do it at least put it in a cage at night or when they have to go somewhere. This one lets it in the bed with her? I'm surprised it hasn't gotten crushed yet lol and is not giving it proper care. Especially if it is truly a black sex link. Those things are prolific layers and without proper layer feed it could get really sick. Also prone to reproduction problems and not the longest lived and she's gonna be heartbroken if it dies at 18 months.
