Plain ol ringnecks sound delicious. About how old before you would butcher?

Shtop. Please schtop! My mouth is watering...

They certainly are crazy birds! Probably best to eat them... agreed!
I don't know...some of mine will eat out of my hand and some I can just look at them and they want to fly away. :lau

I have the trio left. Prettiest coward cock stuck around and has a couple ladies. He's just gorgeous and seems fairly mellow during the day. In the evening they start pacing and getting a little nutty. I tried to release them, but they wouldn't leave so I guess that they stay!

I've tried releasing a few of mine...ones I couldn't sell, or even give away :lau some would stay around a week or two, couple of times they made it 2 months before disappearing. Most of the time, if they get out their gone in a quick chilly minute. Too many predators around here for them to make for very long. :hitHere's some pics of one that hung around for about 3 months!

Ain't he a beaut:love
Love your set up. I think I'll try release again once they're fully matured. I've got a ton of underbrush, creek willow and a seasonal creek so maybe they'll stick around for a while. If they hang with the piggies, they will have a life of luxury!
