They certainly are crazy birds! Probably best to eat them... agreed!That's the only reason I still raise Chinese ring necked pheasants...I love a good pheasant meal now and again.

I don't know...some of mine will eat out of my hand and some I can just look at them and they want to fly away.
I have the trio left. Prettiest coward cock stuck around and has a couple ladies. He's just gorgeous and seems fairly mellow during the day. In the evening they start pacing and getting a little nutty. some would stay around a week or two, couple of times they made it 2 months before disappearing. Most of the time, if they get out their gone in a quick chilly minute. Too many predators around here for them to make for very long.
