My favorite part of this crazy weather is when you're driving in it and the person next to you in the big truck goes through a huge puddle and the water splashes over your windshield and you are instantly rendered blind. It's not often I get to have a flashback of my entire life.

I HATE when that happens!

Lockdown on the agenda over here too as I lost my first bird to a predator this morning, hawk I guess. Its going to happen when you fly birds but still sad. Rest in peace Snowy Night.

I wrote M-G and asked them for a non medicated 22-26% quail food. I need to check Texas Naturals and see what they offer. Local feed store. I'm concerned about feed going bad before the quails eat 50#.

Yup. Cushion comb. They originate here in Canada, so they're meant to withstand our climate.
