You aren't going to "be cured" (for lack of better phrasing) in just one day. Don't be so hard on yourself. You should allow yourself to be able to focus on the good stuff that you've done today. If you ONLY focus on all the stuff that makes you feel bad, all it is going to accomplish is making you feel never good enough. That is not healthy (mentally) and it leads to more not so healthy behaviors. It is GOOD to acknowledge the stuff that you need to work on. It is good to share here. It is a way to hold yourself accountable and that is a good thing. There is a lot of love, and it may at times be the not so fun Tough Love to be given, but people around here care enough to give it. So if you've done more today than you usually do, that's great! It is an accomplishment. Are you perfect? No. But do you have the ability to improve. Yes. Think of it as a challenge to maybe do something else, no matter how small. A little more each day. Just keep moving 1 step at a time.![]()
