➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Indeed it is. I just pulled some honey cookies out of the oven. Second batch for the day. I haven't made cookies in over a year, but had a hankering today.
Honey cookies sound amazing! How do you make them? We ordered bees not that long ago. Should get them in April. I can't wait! I'm so excited to be able to have our own honey. :drool

I had a lot of fun explaining the differences between the two for said people.

Hey Kiki have you ever heard of fairy bread?

I had to google fairy bread. It looks pretty but doesn't sound like it would be very appetizing. Why ruit a nice slice of buttered bread with a bunch of candy? :sick

A sausage? I’ve never actually heard snag used seriously. I’ve heard bangers and mash used a lot by relatives though.
A banger.
That is hilarious.

Definitely weird names. In my mind, why not just call a sausage a sausage? It's a sausage. It's interesting on HOW or WHY some of these sayings or terms came to be. But then again, if you go to waffle house you can get your hashbrowns covered, smothered, diced, and whatever other terms they use for the various toppings. I guess we can be weird too sometimes.

Ewww, margarine? That's even worse. I am totally creeped out by margarine.
I grew up using margarine. I only use butter now. I rarely use a spreadable butter but if I do it is normally one like Land O Lakes Butter with Olive Oil and Sea Salt. It literally has 4 ingredients. Sweet Cream, Olive Oil, Salt and Sea Salt. That is it. It normally lasts me forever because I don't use it very often.

why make french toast with powdered sugar on top? same type of thing
When I was a kid, it's a good thing I didn't know about fairy bread...I would have had it every time my parents were busy, quick and easy to make LOL
