➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Just go with it this first time. The next run you can make the adjustments...you'll be able to see the differences between the two different ways you calibrated.
I posted to your post on the NFC bday chat thread, also so check it out.

Okay, thank you!! That makes sense and is helpful. And okay I will!!

Oh and I did test the seal on a different, empty back, and it was good, so that’s a good sign, right? I know not every bag is the same but should mean the others are probably airtight too?

What are they reading this morning?

Got some planting stuff yesterday. Some seed starting trays, they were only $5 with the soil already in them (they had other ones, no soil, $5 or even $7 so I figured these were a much better deal) AND they had a sale going on if you are on their email list/a part of their little rewards program, which I am, so I got $1 off so they were only $4 each which I thought was a great deal. The limit was only 2 per household but they’re 36 hole trays each so that should be plenty. Then I also got a little thing of seed starter soil for $2 just in case I need more space or trays. I have used their potting soil before but never knew they had seed starter, might be new, idk, but their regular soil is very good. Also got those little pellets which were a little expensive, like $1.60, but I figure I can put them in egg cartons or little cups, and have little individual seed trays in case I need more room ha

But the REALLY exciting part is I got a bunch of blueberry plants and grapes!! :D they also had fruit trees but I didn’t get any. Might go back lol I think the fruit trees were like $17.99 which I thought was a pretty good deal given they were pretty huge but they only had 3 types of fruit, one variety each, and I know you usually need two varieties of each for pollination so I decided against it. They had apples, peaches, and one other kind that I forget. And then inside they had all the blueberries and grapes as well as raspberries, strawberries, etc. they have all kinds of plants. But anyways, got 3 different kinds of blueberries and two grapes. I hope it is okay to plant now. I read you are supposed to plant before they come out of dormancy but hopefully it will be okay. I figured I better get them now while they are green and healthy before they die from being inside. We have an area in the back where there was a wild blueberry bush we just took out so we will put them there. Very acidic and well draining too. And the grapes I am going to put next to the chicken run for shade for them and grapes for them. They love grapes. These plants were only $6.99 each and they look very healthy so I thought it was a good deal.

This store has everything, not just plants haha got some bird seed for cheap too and some potato chips, farrow, a few various other things. They have really good organic, healthy food too for cheap.

I got Blue Ray, Blue Crop, and Jersey for blueberries (one each of all they had) and then for grapes, one red and one green, the red one is Catawba and the green one is Himrod. I don’t know much about grapes but I think the Jersey blueberry is supposed to be a good kind??

I am exhausted today lol worked hard for like 3 hours straight this afternoon and I am not used to that  I do little stuff here and there or sometimes go outside for a while doing small stuff but the stuff I was doing today was exhausting work. And it was just me because my dad was taking a nap and I didn’t know I was going to do all this exhausting stuff. Just kind of impulsively decided to lol I had a big huge post typed up but decided that pictures are a lot easier so just went out and took some instead. First time I don’t have much to say..... I know, I know, ME!? Kelsey!? Not talking!? :th

But don’t call an ambulance. :lau idk, just exhausted and pictures are easier lol but will briefly explain, flipped a bunch of dirt in the run and my garden with the compost rake cause it was all hard packed and I want it... not hard packed, idk, and garden needs tilling so just did some since I was doing chicken run. After rain yesterday, run was soft and squishy/sinking, so figured that made easier work for me and did it now. Also flipped a bit of the compost pile too and raked up around it what had spread out. Raked up along both long sides of run, pulled stuff from next to back long side (including that massive roll of HC and some tools), and put wire down on ground. Tomorrow I will put the HC up but I didn’t know where the wire cutters were and didn’t want to wake my dad plus it was getting dark. Oh and also before my 3 hour work spree, I filled the front bird feeders, collected eggs, and let chickens out around 2. Went to do the hard work like 3:30, was out probably 2 1/2, 3 hours. Odd thing is I was up early today but slow moving.

Anyhow, pictures. And also, I think that is the briefest I have ever taken to explain anything.... :lau again, don’t worry or call anyone. :lau
