➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

@KDOGG331 you made some good garden progress today!

I have some of the raised beds ready for seeds....so planted 3 varieties of carrots, two types spinach, purple top turnips, Detroit beets, cherry and French breakfast radish, Pak choi cabbage and dill. Then put out plants: 12 broccoli, 6 cauliflower, 10 kale, 10 collards, 12 flat Dutch cabbage, 8 Rainbow Swiss chard and 10 Romaine lettuce.

The onions, garlic are doing great and the peas are swelling.
Have potatoes ready to go in the ground and seeds in pots for tomatoes, peppers, eggplant and squash.

@CrazyCrttr75 how are your little poopers doing?
Everyone is growing like crazy! :love We are still struggling with the one with constipation issues tho. :hit We've tried coconut oil (getting it in her as well as putting it on her), Preperation H, hydrocortisone cream, antibiotic ointment, soaking her which she seems to like. Hell, we even tried an enema but have only done that once because we're terrified of hurting her. Soaking in warm water seems to help. We've put ACV in their water. She eats well. She likes the nipple waterer instead of the "normal" waterer. Since we put in the nipple waterer that she has to peck at to get water, she has been drinking more. She likes it a LOT better. She is very active. She is the only one that can jump from on top of the heat plate to the top of their feeder. The others are very jealous and like to try and jump up to get her but they can't. LOL! :lau She is tiny but brave and spunky. When we take her out to check her and put more cream on her she loves to climb to our shoulders, which freaks me out but is still cute. I am hoping that as long as she continues make progress in her growing, is active and otherwise seems healthy that maybe it is something that she will grow out of. My hubby is trying to ferment some food and I think we are going to try that as well. We're just trying everything I guess. It is just so disturbing to see her get so distended as she struggles to poop. For all I know she was just born with a deformity. I don't know. I just worry about her.

Anyone here ever raise rabbits for meat? Trying to talk myself into them.
I grew up raising and eating meat rabbits. They were amazingly simple critters to raise, and their poop was the best garden fertilizer ever. If you don't have a problem bunny bashing, you should definitely do it!
