➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

That's not a bad idea but I have to be careful he doesn't notice what I'm up to because he gets moody if he thinks I'm saying something negative about his appearance. Worse than a woman lamenting about the dryer shrinking her jeans...

If I get little ice cream sandwiches or something, the kids are happy too because they refuse to eat ice cream that has spoon marks. So, they get one serving and he ends up eating the rest and having his feelings hurt because they are grossed out over his spoon marks.
Have you tried making ice cream or sorbet? It's healthier and you know what went into if you make it yourself. Plus kids usually have fun doing it. The sorbet can be as easy as blending up a watermelon or other fruit and putting it in the ice cream machine. Once it's done, you can put it into single serving cups so the kids are happy later.

I have a date tonight! :celebrate

What did you order?
Mail order hatchery chicks. Lol You haven’t missed any incubations or hatches, don’t worry. :lau

But I’m getting 5 from Meyer Hatchery and 2 1/2 of the 5 are yellows. I say 2 1/2 cause one is brownish but has a yellow tum tum lol they hatch the 29th which is Monday so they should be here Tuesday or Wednesday. :D

I am getting one each of Delaware, White Leghorn, Partridge Rock, Speckled Sussex, and Easter Egger. The Delaware and Leghorn are the yellow ones and the Sussex has the cute little yellow tum tum and then the Easter Egger could be any color. I will just have to wait and see. My last two were chipmunk color.

Here are the pages on Meyer’s site if you wanted to see the chick pictures. :D
