➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

It's pretty fun. The entire art dept leaves at once to go play frisbee. We have a dog frisbee too. One (of six) dogs that we bring to the park is awesome with the frisbee. He is NOT one of mine...
Does TexMex go to work with you yet?

Anybody know what the brown on this dumb little plant means?

I've had it inside on a window sill not in the direct light.

I think somebody waters it too much and that's what's causing it to turn brown.
Somebody thinks that it needs direct sunlight and put it outside this morning.

Pretty sure that the direct sun will burn it if it's not used to it. They do need lots of water.

That looks more like disease than a water or light issue. How long have you had the bonsai? If not long, I'd ask for an exchange. They may not have been cleaning the trimmers between plants. If you've had it a while, cut away the brown bits with clean trimmers, clean them well after use, and wait and see. I had a young hawthorn tree bounce back after a weird fungal infection just by trimming back to the heathly wood. But an evergreen turning brown in patches is almost certainly disease of some sort.

We've had it a few months already.
