I am so sorryI have been holding off posting in the hopes of better news, but I am losing hope by the day.
My flock is gone. Something (I can only assume dogs) tore open the run and damaged one of the coops on Saturday. 1 hen was dead when I found her, 1 hen was injured but alive. The other 7 (my rooster, the last hen, and all 5 pullets) are still missing. No other bodies have been found, but there are feathers from everyone strewn throughout the run. I am absolutely shattered.

You don’t deserve that.Is there anything we could do to help?
Did you ever see the dogs or any tracks?
Did the injured hen make it?
So sorry.. I’m devastated for you.![]()

Get you some vitamin and electrolyte powder and some starter. Make a slurry about consistancy of a milk shake with the powder, starter and water in a food processor Sugar or molassis if you want. Put it in a bowl put the bowl on the edge of a counter or something and dip her beak in it. She should eat that. Sorry for your loss
