➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

This is why I hate them. Even if you only buy enough for a day or two, they’re still a royal pain in the butt.
They’re suicidal and will flock to any water source to plunge themselves into and drown, or find the smallest cracks to wedge themselves in and get crushed. And there’s ALWAYS a male that escapes and hides in the tank that will inevitably start chirping at 3am.
And they smell like mildew and farts.
I had a friend stay while her house was being sold. After she had moved a box showed up with 5k crickets. :th
The company goofed and didn't send them to the new address. So until I found some one that could use them, they lived in a 100 gallon tank. Talk about noisy.:barnie I didn't have chickens then, just a small box turtle. It would have taken him ten years to eat all those

They can also bite your reptile while it is sleeping.

OMG!! They bite!?!?!

She had a bunch of lizards and hedgehogs. The lizards were at her boyfriend's house. She had brought hedgehogs and 2 great Danes to my house...and her mail.

Ah that makes sense then but still, she must have had a lot of animals! Lol and oh wow!! The two Great Danes must have been a bit of a hassle too!! Those are big dogs!! More like horses. :lau

She normally sleeps on the wing chair in my room but tonight it appears wedging herself between the blankets and my pillows was the comfier option. :lau

Five thousand?! Oh my gosh. :gig
I can only imagine the smell.. you poor soul.
I think at that point I would’ve driven out into the nearest field and hoped for the best. Or go fishing with a LOT of bait. Or dumped them in my worst enemy’s car. Hah!
“What would YOU do with 5k crickets?”
OMG!! They bite!?!?!
Yes! They’re nasty! If my lizards didn’t like them so much I’d never buy them again.

I am used to St Bernard and had my brothers great dane for a while. They were ill-mannered though. Chewed up stuff.
