We put fencing over the chain link, now they can't get out. It's just temporary housing for meat chickens, the ones I'm keeping will go with the others once I definitely know they're pullets.

Only most likely female! Male torties do exist, but they’re usually sterile.

Yeah, she’s vegan I think but still cooks/grows stuff for her family.

I love my Kiko Boer crosses. They only make a fuss when they want grain. I give them some once a day and they stay quiet for the rest of the time. One of them demands head scratches anytime I visit them. So far they haven't destroyed anything.

I'm jealous. I love goats, but I think the time for them in my life was childhood. They served my childhood well. I have nothing but fond memories of them (other than that awful Tog, Angie).
Is it wrong that I already rat proofed the goat barn and turned it into a duck house?
