➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I'd say 12 weeks too.

I think I have 1 cockerel out of my Halloween hatch. I need to put up my new nesting boxes. I made cat litter containers into nesting boxes, but we never got to put them up this weekend because we were running around like crazy.

Hoshi is shedding again too. I caught him last night contorting in his cave to chew the skin off his tail :sick
That grosses me out :lau Probably why I'm not too into Geckos. I saw my son's do that one day and ever since then, I've been put off by them.

They're very pretty lizards though!

Groot was shedding when I got him, but now he's shedding again:eek:Hes definitely going to be a big boy!

That was the first time I have witnessed it first hand. Gross but kind of fascinating. I love the little guy though. He has the cutest expressions.

Tad seemed to be constantly shedding or about to shed until she was about 10-12 months old. It was crazy!

I think geckos are cute and they always look like they're smiling!

I think that Groot is a little behind on his growth because of the yellow fungus that he had. I'm sure he was very sick from it because they told me that he had a lot of open lesions on his head and on his foot.

Poor little buddy. That would definitely slow down his development. Glad he is doing so well now!

He has so much scarring from it, but he seems to be in good spirits. He definitely really likes living with us. He hugs my thumb and it's the cutest thing ever.

The roaches seem to be loving their home too. I haven't been feeding many of them to the lizards because I want them to reproduce. I think once it's established my husband will be wanting to get the tarantula. We still want one.
