Wild! I keep finding baby mediterranean house geckos hanging out inside. We scare each other every time.

I have relatives in Arizona. It is common for wild lizards to be allowed to freely roam houses there as it helps reduce the number of insects and spiders in the house.

Those are the anchors for the wire. She sticks the head under the wire to keep it in place as she chops the head off with her hatchet.

Sounds like your "deal" has expired. I never got a deal so my bill has only ever increased incrementally. You can always drop DirecTV and switch to Dish as long as you have fulfilled the terms (years) of your contract. The other alternative is to switch to one of the streaming sites or just go back to local off air TV.

Not quite, she still has to hold the quail (or other victims), the holder just prevents them from moving their head and neck around so you aren't chopping at a moving target.
