Even some that aren't sick. I kill every starling that I can as well as any of the Collared Doves and any pigeons that show up.

Sometimes I wonder if it'd be better if we were just marginal cooks. We both enjoy good food.

You and me both! Topped 75 pigeons/doves (same pest, different clothes) in a week this last summer. They avoid my property now.

I've always wanted one of those as a pet.

It looks like it'll recover though. I wouldn't ever put something down if it can recover unless it were a threat to my animals.

Starlings and House Sparrows are invasive and overpopulated. Something needs to control their populations. They are the only song birds that it is legal to kill.
