(Gar is alive and well, I've been talking to her. I'm sure she's just busy and will reply soon.)

Amy was awake but remained in her bed, eyes closed and blankets up to her chin. The previous day had left her emotionally drained and she was fighting the urge to go back to sleep. She could hear Artemis rattling around in the bathroom, which didn't bother her, but it meant that she was up and probably wide awake. Pity that she didn't know how to bake, otherwise Amy would have just sent her downstairs to get things started so she could sleep more.
Amy finally pushed the covers down a bit and sat up, pulling her knees to her chest and resting her chin on top. Nights always felt shorter when you actually wanted them, she noted with dismay.

Artemis went to the kitchen and decided to pull out the pizza from the refrigerator for both Amy and Artemis' breakfast. She knew she enjoyed cold pizza, but as for Amy, that hadn't yet been established.

Amy dragged herself out of bed and went to her closet to find something to wear. The light was off so she just grabbed the first thing she saw, a knee-length coral sundress and a pair of tan flats. While in the bathroom changing, she noticed with gratefulness that Artemis had nearly put away everything she used, something her last guest had not done.

"Ok," Brooklyn agreed finally. She left the engine running for Simeon while she went inside and requested a room with two beds. That she made clear, not wanting to give anyone the wrong impression.

Artemis set the slices of pizza on individual plates before placing them on the table. She felt silly for doing so instead of cooking an extravagant breakfast, but considering that she couldn't cook, it was the least she could do to be helpful to Amy in a way that expressed her gratefulness for letting her stay with her.

Simeon waited patiently, and looked around the car in a sort of paranoia that someone would be there, walking towards him.

Brooklyn returned having spent what little money remained after her shopping spree used to get a room.

(I could use some cold pizza right now...)

Amy hurriedly applied her makeup and whatnot then went to join Artemis in the kitchenette. "Ooh this is fun," she said with a smile as she sat down by her plate. Eating leftover pizza for breakfast had never really occurred to her since she usually was busy in the big kitchen at this hour.

(Mmm..)
Artemis turned from the window she had been watching through to join Amy at the table. She smiled, pleased that Amy approved, before taking a bite of her pizza.
