I have Blue Maran and Black Copper Maran eggs in my incubators right now. My shipped Bielefelder eggs are supposed to get here Thursday after a long wait.

Ok so its looking like I have a broody....... oh well that might just mean Im allowed to hatch some more eggs.....

The burning question... do I give her eggs from the bator (on day 12) or do i start her again with new eggs???

Yes fresh eggs does mean more chicks....

but eggs from the incubator means guaranteed developing chicks

We bought an incubator over a month ago and I’ve finally gotten around to adding eggs this morning. I put in 24 eggs and they are due to hatch Sept. 14

The biggest issue I’m having today is getting the humidity stable/ correct.

I wish I could find some Salmon Faverolle eggs. I had 1 hatch from my first batch and none from any batches since then. She is such a goofball, I love it! I could use some more goofballs in my life. LOL!
