Just set 42 duck eggs about 10 minutes ago... I got a cute bunny I named Snow as a payment for hatching the eggs

And yes... she’s an albino

hello again! My Eve (May hatch-a-long) has gone broody again, so I've given her 4 home-grown eggs: one of her own, and one of each of 3 of her flockmates (offspring of my other two hens are already running round from spring/summer hatches).
We have a chicken named Big Mama, and she is about 7 years old. We let her sit on some eggs and last week all six hatched, she has been the most devoted mama chicken. I was so happy for her she has always been a really broody chicken!

Worst chicken mom award goes to me. I was cleaning out the hatching box yesterday and decided to give up on the eggs from 8/15. Threw them away and then a couple hours later walked by the trash can and realized one said 8/18 not 15 so I put it back in the incubator. Long story short I found this today. Welcome to the world you poor little trash chicky!

Update: All my babies have hatched except three, two are dead, one from what looks like a bacterial infection, and another from suffocation after the external pip.😢 But on the bright side I have one more that's externally pipped and it is going strong! And on the brighter side, my two babies that had the really bad looking navels pulled through last night, they look better this morning, also I have now 11 chicks running around in the "fluffing" incubator!🥰 It is like a cuteness overload!! In total if this last hatches I'll have 12 chickies! That's my highest hatch number that I've ever had! This has been one of the best hatches ever, besides my geese they were pretty awesome to.
