I’m setting duck eggs on Sunday for a friend. Getting a bunny as a trade

I set some of my barnyard cross eggs (into an incubator that I am not sure if I am having problems with or if it is just all the condition of the shipped eggs) on the 15th - hatch day will be the 5th. More BCM eggs should be arriving today also.

Well, BCM eggs did not arrive today....but looks like they should be here tomorrow. My FoxFire Deathlayer eggs arrived earlier than expected though! I will unbox and candle them this afternoon and then set them tomorrow.

Wyandotte eggs arrived today! It is very obvious post office stored eggs on side because guess where the aircells are . As air cells are still loose/resembling jelly I have them upright and they are moving back to top. I guess I'll need to break out the big JN48 to incubate them upright

My first hatch ever! I’m so happy to join a hatch-along! I’ve got 8 FBCM eggs on day one! Hatch date is Sept. 10.

I have eggs that were supposed to hatch yesterday but not one of them pipped! I will post pictures this afternoon.

I put some more eggs under a different broody, she has been getting out of the coop and we couldnt stop her, so today when I finally found her I seen she had laid some eggs and made a nest so she has six eggs underneath her now due to hatch September 11. If she stays true and sits on them so far she has been a little flighty she is around a year old. I candled all my eggs Wednesday night and all the PAVs and Polish eggs were developing but out of 15 bantam eggs only three developed and one of them was dead, out of the three golden comets it looks like only one is developing but it is pretty hard to see through the egg when I candle them.

I'm going to hatch some Texas a&m quail for my mother's birthday this month.

5 silkie eggs, 3 of my seabright (or possibly a D'uccle) and EE cross eggs, and 2 from my EE hens. First time incubator hatch! Due to hatch on the 3rd! Also my little egg sitter, Sir Yoshi!

Quail hatch in 3 days... not sure if I’ll get some early ones. I need to go check the eggs though before they go into lockdown
