I have one good pip and two chirping this morning with my miracle chicks. I thought one was malpositioned and pipping at the wrong end but just discovered it was old damage as I was topping off the water well in the Brinsea.

The two eggs I expected to hatch still haven't and frankly it's amazing that the two that are trying to hatch are even trying. I am fully expecting to have to step in and assist at least one of them .

Two days ago when they went into lock down I scraped off all the access candle wax that I could to make it easier for the chick to work its way out. We shall see what develops.

This is my next batch of shipped eggs. Day 18 and when I candled them this morning, I saw this. Could this possibly be a pip this early?? I’m hoping I didn’t crack or damage it while handling but I candled yesterday, since I’m keeping a close eye on the air cells and I’m sure I would have noticed it. I did see movement this am. 1A6D5AE4-2D2F-40AD-87C8-2F7408F229F6.jpeg
