I heard from an experienced Hatcher and egg shipper that you can start the incubating immediately so the eggs do not get any older. She recommended that all shipped eggs be incubated in vertical turners and do NOT turn the turner on for two days to let the air cell settle. I am trying this now.

That’s what I usually do with any eggs that are not from my farm

Skywalker is an ebay seller that quite a few of us purchased eggs from. Quite a few recently have hatched out Bielefelders from him. I hatched out Svart Honas from him back in April/May.

Would be a fun name for a new breed of chicken! I see them as a very flighty bird with that name though. Lol!

I put mine skywalker bieles in after resting 6 hours or so. I got impatient and put them in (on their sides... )

Also, 8 Sulmater eggs have veining and a jumping embryo! Yay

I have decided to hatch more than just the 3 dozen I have purchased. My girls are laying again so I'm going for 7-8 dozen. Will start incubating mid to late next week!

This doesn't work, no one has the will power to watch and not hatch. Just succumb now.
