Candled a few quail eggs last night and some were no good, but it’s okay. They should hatch on the 25th.

Lockdown went into effect last night this is what looks good out of 56....

Post pics of the aviary please... I’d love to see what you’ve done. I have a aviary too. I put a rose bush and fake plants plus lots of hideouts. I’ll be changing it around soon, but for now my quail love it.

I hVe a 6x6 and 7 feet tall aviary. It’s like a dog kennel with roof but for birds

You have some beautiful birds! Ayam Cemani is a very interesting chicken. I love the exotic types. Have an odd and special beauty.

I have not had that breed yet. I’m working on my quail breeding right now

My daughter wanted Ayam Cemani, but price was so high for those hatching eggs at the time so we went with a close relative to the Cemanis....the Svart Hona. I wasn't too sure about how much I liked them (the all black)...but they are some of my favorites now! They look so sleek and fancy. Not just "another black chicken".

My bad, I candled and it didn't help my nerves much but at least now it's a happy nervous I have at least one internal pip maybe two

BCM on my list to hatch next year! I haven’t seen anywhere local that does them, and I had 0% hatch on any shipped eggs this time. So really want to be able to get them from a breeder! They lay such beautiful eggs!! Happy hatching!

I had 6 BCM and 5 Black Amerucanas hatch total yesterday and last night.
But my last hatch a week ago was not so good with American Breese only 1 out 6 hatched pictures below
