Question for the hatching guru's about humidity.

First batch down to 4 out of 12, day 19. Candled this morning all still moving, taking up most of the shell.

Air cells are still a bit small but looking much closer to the right size. I didn't lock down on day 18 because they looked way too small on day 17. I ran the incubator with no extra water from day 17 to this am. Day 19 doesn't officially end until late this afternoon. So they really only went an extra 12 hours.

Question since the air cells aren't quite as big as they should be. I was planning on locking down this morning. Air cells are probably as good as they're going to get.

Should I up the humidity to the standard 65-70% or keep it a little lower since they still have some extra moisture?

Any advice is greatly appreciated, I managed to keep these 4 alive to this point, want to give these 4 the best odds to successfully hatch.

Keep it on the low side of say 55-60% no higher than that. The closer to 55 the better

You don't have to up the humidity until there is an external pip. Sometimes I have a hard to finding the pips, but if you visibility is good you can push the limits. Also, low humidity can cause shrink-wrapped chicks or more assistance on your part, if you are hovering anyway you can push the low humidity farther.

I am a bad influence.
