🐕 Golden Retriever Chat 🐕

That is cute. That just doesn’t really work for me because I have a no toys in the house rule and I keep all of the toys outside put up. I of course had toys in the house when he was a puppy, but now that he doesn’t chew the house up I don’t. I get them out when I’m going to play with him. It is a good idea though!!! Anything else?!
Why don't you allow toys inside??

Hmmm maybe retrieving items for you?
He knows several objects by name. What he doesn’t know I point and guide him with “yes” or “no”. I could do more with it though

I use his toys for training/games so I want the toys to be extra special. If I had his toys all day long he wouldn’t care as much for them during training, thus decreasing the value of his reward. Also, several of his toys aren’t chew proof, so I don’t like for him to chew them. I used to give him bones and kongs when I was gone, but he never touched them. He just sleeps by the back door, he has pretty bad separation anxiety.

Oh ok, I have inside toys and outside toys and training toys for mine. I have a few special toys that I use for training and the rest they have access to.
