I love the name!!

My husband suggested it! Whish surprised me, because it's German and his thing is much more Russian leaning. It means Hunter, Ranger, Rifleman, or Light Infantry, depending on era or language.

This is Jäger! He is ten weeks old and we literally just brought him home like an hour ago, lol. He's sleeping off the scenery change, so I'm hopping on the appropriate dog threads. He is half Golden, half GSD! The Golden is much more dominant just about everywhere except in his coat color. He's got to be at least 20lbs already, huge feet!View attachment 4056746

How old is your Goldie?
About 3 and a half, which is crazy because It feels so recent that his breeder sent a picture of his mom's ultrasound.

What is your Goldies favourite thing to do?
Cause trouble, go on runs, and Ball.

How many Goldies (or other dogs if you have another breed) do you have?
Just 1, but I also have 2 dachshunds, and we're looking into getting a rescue!

They do shed a lot, especially in the fall and spring.
Temperament depends on the individual, but they tend to have lots of energy even after puppy hood.
These are, in general, dogs that need lots of exercise
