We're getting 4-7 inches of snow, or maybe more, or maybe less, today/tonight. While I was on my walk, I stopped to look at the beehive. Nobody was out, of course. I said, "Stay warm, girls. See you in a few months."

That's just crazy cold. Don't think I could do it. I live in a moderate climate. We have hot days, cold days and a lot of beautiful temps in between.

Dry is always better than humid.

I grew up in SW PA. The coldest I remember it getting was -6⁰F. I will gladly take -20⁰F here over -6⁰F there.

Humidity makes my arthritis feel much worse.
