Pics
I've seen people cross leghorns and EEs which made lay earlier.
I have leghorn hens and leghorn/rhode island crosses. My EE roo is in bully camp for what he did to my gentleman alpha rhode island. The EE was beta. I was visiting my mom and spent the day with her and my hubby locked everyone up because he was home when it got dark. Chunk (the beta ee) bloodied my rhode islands comb and when I saw him in the morning it was frostbit because of all the blood (and 1 degree temp). I was not happy..he was cornering my alpha and taking advantage. My rhode island has a big comb and chunk has a rose comb. My rhode island never spurred or nailed the beta. Worse he did was run him around sometimes. Tomorrow I am trying pinless peepers..I need 2 roos. I have 21 hens if I include my new pullets recently added. I hate to have roast chunk..but rhode island is a sweety. Chunk has good qualities to though.. we will see...

Do it! Then tell us. 😂 Will probably turn out to be an olive egger too!
😀 my eggs are more green then blue..here is a pic but the lighting is bad..there is 1 greenish egg..

Here are my lovelies!
My 2 layers who give me the exact same beautiful sage green color egg, same size even.

Chicken Bacon Ranch, I just call her Bacon for short. She is a little over a year old.

Chicken Parmesan (who I'm suspecting might have a single comb)

OhMaGosh - JJ's beard! LOVE it!
I have one lone EE hen, Summer, a 2yo red/buff bantam. She lays a lovely pale, blue-green-pink (odd colored) egg. I don't get too many eggs from her, though. She's turned out to be my best broody. When she's not setting, she's babysitting. She's a bit of a space-cadet, but she definitely earns her place in my flock!

I have 3 standard eggers,2 bantam eggers..my older pullets one is an olive egger, her legs are olive colored and she is slightly darker than the other two I got at the same time. The olive lays a beautiful deep olive colored egg,one Easter egger lays a very light blue and the other lays sort of light bluish green color..then my 2 bantam green queens are only 6 weeks old..
