I’m almost finished with To Kill a Mockingbird.

One of THE BEST books ever written, IMHO. The movie is equally good too, and I can't say that about many books-made-into-movies.

All very different genres and styles. But all of them I liked for the writing.

Having written a book (never published), I find the craft fascinating.

I just finished "City of Ghosts" by Mary Beth Sammons, and it's amazing!!
A girl has a near death experience, and because of that, she can visit the sort of limbo between the spirit and mortal worlds. Her best friend and sidekick is Jacob, a ghost that can read her thoughts.
Highly recommend!!

I found ist mostly disappointing to watch the movie after reading the book.

I think that I have a collection of Sherlock Holmes stories sitting around somewhere, but I've never gotten to it.
