Color problems again on my nauseous part...
Can you guys pls help me identify this ~6 month old gfowl's color?
Im sorry but i just have a single photo on my fone right now which i will be attaching later on.
As with its parents - - - Father : pewter,
Mother: slate

Wow! What a striking bird! Do you have young keet pics? Is it semi-dotted? Does it look like your pewter adult?

Hello.. Unfortuntely, i do not have other photos. When this color of gfowls were keets, they looked similar to slate keets, only they were lighter in color. As they grew older, their feathers appearred to be white. As they matured further, thay developed those somewhat greyish/brownish patches with few faint pearls.

When our pewter cock was a keet, he also seemed to appear white but later on developed the greyish plumage with a few faint dots that which i believe what a pewter should look.

I attached 2 photos of 1 of our pewters. From the time the photos were taken, this gfowl's plumage turned more greyish as compared to the photos appearing rather brownish.
