10+ New Hampshire hatching eggs

Thank You for the congradulations (to every one), but as we all know; don't count your chickens before they hatch. If they don't make the trip in good order . . . . . . then it would be appropriate to say I am so sorry gjensen. We will see. . . . . Never the less congradulations to the seller. These two auctions should buy a little feed ( about 1550 lbs.). Also for anyone that thinks that it was irresponsible to bid this amount, it would take me another five years to get near these birds. My New Hampshires are pretty good, but not near these yet. If I hatch one cockerel, it would help me alot in time, labor, and money. Just one cockerel . . . .

Kathy, you have got class. Some people would just be in this for the money, but it is a good thing that you are making him this offer.

Kathy, that is a generous offer that I could not refuse. In fact I think that this is a very thoughtful gesture. You have made my day. One concern I had was that I told my boys about this auction and they were awfully excited. I never tell them about something good until it is a reality. We have no control over our circumstances. I hate getting their hopes up. This is an impressive offer.

I would advise taking Kathy's offer to hatch them for you. Even if you drive out to get the eggs, one bump could destroy the eggs. At least in her incubator they have a better chance of hatching. Who knows, you could get 90% or more! Good luck with them!
