10 reasons he may not ask you out again - A Guys Perspective

Dating in your mid twenties completely stinks, too- 99% of the guys around here have one thing on their minds- and it's not chickens!

Finding a guy with similar morals/values is proving to be a daunting task, especially when I carry the "ugly" crown!!!

Yeah guys tend to be pro creation.

If a woman asks a guy out then she should pay. But I personally would never ask a guy out. EVER.

And I am being civil here...but as hiker chick mentions, If that is the situation that you automatically default to, you are consistently setting up a situation where the woman is for sale, which depending on your personal code, might be totally fine.

Additionally if you only ever go out with men who ask you out you are limiting yourself to about 10% of the male population, and not the best 10%. People find each other through and extraordinary number of different ways and there is no reason to limit yourself.

A lot of people whom I meet who have super strict criteria about dating protocols are also the ones who are complaining about the people they go out with...that they can never find anybody....turns out they wont really look at anyone seriously.

I am SOOO staying away from straying THIS far off topic.

This is totally true as well. And so as a guy you cant very well let your date pay, but if she doesnt offer, you might as well kick her to the gutter. Its complicated, but it is the way it is.

Ahh, something I will never have to worry about

I am so married and love it.

I would think that whoever is doing the inviting on the said date should be the one paying for it. As my husbands gf back then, I paid for all the dates I planned out for us...or cooked/made it myself. If a man asks you out then he should be the one paying...everytime

You and me both! I've already got 6 housecats and probably at least twenty outside so I've got that covered....now I just need the purple wardrobe and a couple of red hats!

The cats we can share. The funky hats to go along with the purple outfits, I refuse to share!

Sounds like a party!

I'd better start collecting funky hats now, so I'm ready.

funky hats AND funky cats.

I couldn't agree more! I would hate to have to go back out there and date.

It's a shame I developed a cat allergy...LOL

(This thread makes me appreciate hubby even more. I need to track him down and hug him all of a sudden

Ok, from a guys perspective, I've gone out on any number of "dates" where the girl was looking for free drinks, free food and a night out on the town.

If I girl makes an effort (even if you see through it) that she'd like to pay her half or at least the tip ****Which I never allowed**** then I knew she wasn't out there going after my wallet and was generally interested.

Guys are convoluted and complex creatures. Our sense of self preservation comes to a close second to our need to reproduce. Just giving you my input
