I have about a 10 week old chick that was with one of my hens. Last week I noticed its eye looked red/runny. Then I noticed it was not opening its eyes at all. It doesn't seem to have any other symptoms - no runny nose, coughing, or sneezing. I separated it and have been treating the eyes with Teramycin 2-3 times a day for almost 5 days now, but I have not seen any improvement. The chick still won't open its eyes. It is eating and drinking a bit, but seems lethargic. I don't know what to do. It seems uncomfortable, and I don't want it to suffer. I just have no idea where to go from here. Pics below. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear that.

Does it look more like an injury then a sinus infection? It could be it got pecked in the eye and is taking a while to heal. Wash the eye out with a salt solution and continue with the antibiotics.

I hope it gets better soon. Best of luck!

Could you chick be suffering from coccidosis? Is it having runny poops or blood in the droppings? Acting lethargic, puffed up, closing eyes, not eating, and ruffled feathers can be signs of cocci. Corid (amprollium) a cattle medicine is the best treatment for cocci.
Eye irritation can develop in chicks when there is dusty feed or conditions, mold, or ammonia odors in the coop. Make sure that there is good ventilation in the coop. Some contagious respiratory diseases such as MG can show up around 3 weeks old in chicks, if they have been around a carrier bird. Here is a good link to read about cocci and common respiratory diseases with symptoms:
