100% hatch rate on shipped eggs!

I know what you mean! I didn't want spaldings and I was given some white peachicks for free. Finally once the peachicks got big I realized they were Spalding whites. I just wanted regular whites but of course it is too late I love them so much!

I agree EyeKeyYou does not post here much we need photos. I didn't realize you have so many peafowl we definitely need photos of your setup and birds. I want to see the high % Spalding...

1 & 2week olds (wire bottom tubs lights on thermostat controlled dimmers)

3week olds (I don't think they like the 95deg 80%humidity weather)

Yearling miss ships (were suppoosed to be purple pied)

Purple pied yearling

India Blue adults (I don't penn IBs)

Silver pied yearling

Lovely birds! I will be posting pics of all the babies tomorrow. I am trying not to disturb the newly hatched BS's until then.

I know this is late in the thread, but it would be very helpful, if when replying to a thread, especially when disagreeing with a stated opinion, if we all stuck to the same topic. Comparing shipped eggs with home hatched isn't useful when trying to increase your hatch rate on shipped eggs. If you've gotten 100% hatch rate on 15 day old shipped pea eggs, that's helpful to know.

Hatching is so addictive I don't even go to casinos anymore it seems like all gambling impulses are satiated at home.
Definitely post the BS and update as their markings develop that is why they are my favorite pattern.

Good luck with that! Threads here go off topic quickly and turn to chat threads. Don't hate now...I'm just being honest.

Sorry to continue the off-topic conversation, but ss this what a typical yearling spalding looks like? Just curious, 'cause they look very much like the one I recently acquired.
