It’s Thursday and I already have 9 eggs. I’m pretty excited how many I’ll have total by Saturday. (Sorry if I bug with too many pictures, here is my updated stash)

This sounds like an eggcellent idea. I will join if my funky coturnix agrees. I only have 1 male and he is getting old so he isn’t very fertile but sometimes, it works. I hatched 2 and have 5 more keeping me in suspense. I had to help the 2 cause they were stuck. Don’t know why. Humidity was at 60 so I added water for the rest. I live on a small island so humidity is pretty good for them. I actually hatched a few eggs on a heating pad with a container of water in the box.
I’m trying to get eggs but can’t find any here. Tried eBay but post office returned the eggs. I need a permit and the people sending need a lot of paperwork and can only ship them through cargo. Wow, this was supposed to be a fun hobby, not all this stress.
Good luck to all who enter!
Keep the peeps!

I wish I had known about this a week ago.. like, on 3/14, when I set 15 eggs in my incubator..

(3 eggs are from my banty Mille Fleur, the rest are from Ameraucanas.. and since everyone lives together (4 girls and 6 boys), this hatch might be like a box of chocolates...)

Anyway, they're going to be a week early, too soon to be "in" the hatchathon.. and they won't release the incubator before it's too late to get in. My birds are laying about every third day, and there are a few vacant spaces in the incubator.. so I might collect a few more eggs, mark them and start them Saturday.. but that means hand turning the second group for 3 days, then reprogramming the incubator for a 7 day cycle (if that's even possible) to finish them. And, the humidity will be higher during the last 3 days of the first group's cycle. So it all might be more trouble and risk than it's worth...
