Eek! My eggs weren't due till Thursday/Friday, but I have one zipping and another pipped! Lol, this is the first time my breed that has a reputation for hatching early has actually hatched early. It is so exciting to take a random peek while walking by and seeing a surprise like this! View attachment 2080348

Last year, I had every single chick in my first litter hatch on day 18! I woke up and all of them were either out, pipped, or zipped.

I have this really weird feeling in me that my chicks are going to hatch early... I don’t know why

The early bird gets the worm.. this little one didn't want to wait another day. Its the beginning of day 20 for mine and here we have a fast hatcher.

Pip to chick in about 6 to 7 hours..

I have removed my egg turner and placed all my eggs close together and put the lower side of the air cell pointing up from the ones that were obvious. Three more days!!
