We got him/her 11 weeks ago as a day-old chick along with 2 other chicks, one being another ameraucana (may be an EE, I can't tell, but we were told ameraucana). Since we got them, this one I'm asking about has been much more aggressive. The only clear signs that she may be a rooster are her clear size difference, and how her comb and face are much more bright red than our other ameraucana, but otherwise their leg thickness, spur development, and feathers are pretty much the same.
The only other thing I could add is that I have observed her biting the neck of our other chicks and holding them down, however, I have also seen our hens do that as well so I'm not sure if that's so much of a tell.
Thank you to anyone who could help!
