About The Garry Farm speckled sussex:

The Long Awaited Garry Farm Speckled Sussex hatching eggs are back! Our fourth generation speckled sussex are laying and this flock is our prettiest ever with all their lovely shades of feathering! We've been waiting until our flock has been laying eggs at least 3 months and we've just hatched off our first babies ....a 100% hatch!!! This auction is for 12+ Speckled Sussex Hatching eggs - we'll send more the day of shipping if they are available. We have been so blessed with Speckled Sussex birds that we are privileged to care for. In addition to being beautiful, these are quite affectionate, with the hens literally coming to me to be petted. They are just a wonderful flock! These are the liveliest and friendliest of all our breeds. Even Lazarus, our Rooster will not attack me....He will dance around his ladies if a stranger approaches, but he is a gentle rooster who concentrates on being large, tall, and proud.

These will ship week of October 31. The plus by 12+ means we will ship more when they are available of the LO's and/or SS's.

We are a chemical free farm and farm full-time. We feed our animals with the best feed, sprouted grains, fresh grasses, treats from the garden and loving care. I often say that are animals get more nutritious food and rest than we do! We have a high rooster to hen ratio and am getting great reports and experiencing great hatches as well.

If you want shipped to Hawaii or Alaska, I'll need to do a separate shipping quote for you as well as look at the mailing date!

NEWS ALERT! Just received a message from Terri that 8 of the eggs we sent her have made it to lock down!!!! Yahoo...Your results may vary dependent upon handling and incubator but I'm so pleased with this report! I love being Granny Nanny to so many babies!

These are lavendar orpingtons from our Hinkjc lavendar Project Orpington line....All the babies will be lavendars!

These Lavendar Project Orpington Eggs these are from a beautiful flock born from Hinkjc eggs. In this flock, there are only Lavendars!

Please be aware that our flock no longer contains any ladies with lighter colored legs as they are usually the bearers of the mottled gene. I will try to take new photos in coming weeks, but we are in full production at the farm with fall plantings and our canning and baking orders in our commercial kitchen....As all of you who have tried to photograph chickens know, it takes many shots before the subject will be still!

Shipping and Payment information:
We do accept paypal and USPS money orders for preorders as well. Orders may be picked up at the farm with prior notice so we can assure that they are ready for you.

The charge for shipping and handling is dollar cost averaged so that you can pay immediately after winning the auction. Should the costs run higher, we will simply absorb those costs. It includes selecting the best eggs, packing , handling, priority shipping and also confirmation delivery and driving them to the post office. We have found it worth the almost two hours it takes to pack the way we do and bring them to the post office and wait in line. If you want to have insurance, it will be an additional amount $2.

Our paypal is
[email protected]

We ship eggs in the same way we would like to receive them. We carefully examine each egg and select the best for you, bubble wrap each egg separately, putting in a regular box (not an egg carton) which is then cushioned and set in a larger box. These are not the prepaid priority boxes but we use the large boxes that can be ordered through USPS as the standard mailing box. Our mailing costs can often be higher than the prepaid boxes but we find that they arrive in better shape, so it's well worth the extra time, packing materials and shipping costs. Occasionally with a large order, we will use an even larger outside box. Even as carefully as we ship, we cannot guarantee that there will be no breakage in transit We do not guarantee the percentage of your hatch as the incubators temperature and humidity are very variable. We will provide assistance to you during the hatch and help in every way possible to have the best hatch possible.

We also have feed back in the new system as you'll see above as well as the old systems and testimonials on our web site as well. For more information about the farm, please see http://freewebs.com/thegarryfarm/ or Fbook The Garry Farm

We'd be so honored to serve you. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks so much and have a blessed and beautiful day. Nancy
