Hi we have recently hatched several breeds and am wanting to breed some more.

What do the following breeds act and look like? Please provide photos of possible.

Speckled sussex x white orpington

Speckled sussex x crested cream legbar

SS x swedish flower hen

White orp x swedish flower hen

CCL x swedish flower hen

Thanks in advance.

Speckled sussex x white orpington - depends on whether the orpington is dominant or recessive white. I think they’re mostly recessive, which means anything could be under the recessive white, though it’s likely that it would be buff or black. In that case, you’re most likely to get red or black offspring (with leakage)

Speckled sussex x cream legbar - which one is the hen?

Speckled sussex x Swedish flower - offspring will have mottling (white spots), could be red, black, blue, or brown (or one of those with leakage)

White orp x Swedish flower - again, depends on the genetics under the white or the orpington, and what the Swedish flower looks like

Cream legbar x Swedish flower - which is the hen?

SS x CCL - barred roosters, probably over red, black and red, or black and silver. Unbarred hens, either brown, red, or something in between.

SFH x CCL - barred roosters, likely over a pattern of black and gold, black and silver, blue and gold, or blue and silver. Hens can be the same colors (without barring), or brown with blue or brown with red.
