I have 42 in the Bator and setting 20 more today. Really not sure what I was thinking! That's a lot of chicks if even half were to hatch, at least for me anyways...

Faerytale, what kind of climate do you live in? I am in Maine and am thinking that my chicks that are in the bator now will have to live it out in my basement... What will you be doing with your babies?

Here in Texas we never know what we may be faced with weather wise. However, due to the extremes in the weather here we are having a 10' x 24' building built with electricity etc. My chicks will be out of my house. I can't do that again!

I wish we had a basement with all the tornadoes we get!

I'm jealous, I always like to add new bloodlines, and these would really be nice, I'm so tempted and my friend also has a nice American Paint roo that I might be able to use in case I add paints to my flock.
