This is the first time I've ever had them hatch this early, is it normal?

If your temps are a little high it can cause an earlier hatch but sometimes they're just ready to get out. Lol

My kid is so excited (well , I am too , of course ). It’s been last January that we last incubated eggs.

My offspring opened the gate for me when I got home and so he could tell me he heard peeping in the incubator. Tid bit early, assuming it’s the Silkie bantam/Sebright cross since the egg was no bigger than a quail egg

Soon it will be time to play...

Silkies can hatch early!

Was a Wyandotte that was making all of the racket. Tiny peep is still working at it. Going to be tough working half the day while some are hatching tomorrow!
